BATMAN V SUPERMAN: JENA MALONE’S ROLE ACCIDENTALLY REVEALED (IGN.COM)

Following last week’s news that Jena Malone’s mystery role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice won’t make it to the silver screen, it appears Warner Bros. has accidentally revealed her character, which will appear in the R-rated Ultimate Edition home release.

Warning: Spoilers ahead.

A screenshot from a Warner Bros. community survey was posted on Reddit (via CBR), which asked fans who they’d like to see featured in the marketing for Dawn of Justice. On the survey, Malone is listed as the actress who plays Barbara Gordon.

It’s important to note that Gordon’s superhero alias Batgirl is not listed next to her name, whereas Henry Cavill is designated as being both Clark Kent and Superman, so there’s a good chance Malone won’t be suiting up in Zack Snyder’s film. The director recently stated “she’s definitely not Robin or Batgirl.”

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25 and is expected to make quite a splash at the box office, with an anticipated $140 million domestic debut.
