Vampire academy
What is a guardian? In this movie it’s a person who protects the Moroi, the peaceful vampires, and in this movie world, the guardians are called Dhampir. Rose Hathaway (Zoey Dueutch) is a Dhampir (half human half vampire), aka a guardian, who protects the princess Lissa Dragomir (Lucy Fray) who is a Moroi. This “vampire” movie has 3 different types of a vampire, the Dhampir and they are the half-bloods, I guess you could say. There are the Moroi and they the peaceful vampires, but they are not so immortal. Then there are the bloodthirsty immortal vampires, the Strigoi, which are the Darth Vader’s of this movie.

I normally love vampire movies, but this one was not in my favor. I have no words for this movie. But the most memorable moment a scene with Roses’ bond with Lissa (they share a one way bond that allows rose to see what is going on with Lissa at all times). The scene is when Christian (Dominic Sherwood) becomes a Strigoi and wants to kill Lissa, but it turns out to be a dream.

I don’t think it was a really good movie and if you read the books you’ll be disappointed. If you haven’t read the books then you might like it, but I don’t really recommend it. I give it 1 TARDIS.
