Oak Cliff Film Festival Interviews and Award Winners!

It was another great year for the Oak Cliff Film Festival and we at That Nerd Show,  were glad to be apart of it.  Maybe it wasn’t at grandiose at the Dallas International Film Festival,  but just as good and filled with just as many great films that everyone should see.  There were two that stood out for me…two music documentaries showing us how music can inspire and change our live.  They were Los Punks and Goodnight Brooklyn: The Story of Death by Audio.

But we also want to take a moment and recognize a lot of fantastic short films even one that was only 2 minutes long, but poignant.  And we got to take a trip down memory lane with an outside screening of Flight of the Navigator…a great movie from the class of 1986!  As much as we could talk about all the great films that were at the Film Festival, we will let some of the filmmakers themselves tell you  in their own words. watch our interviews below.

As a lasting impression all I can say  is this little film festival centered in the Bishops Arts area and in the heart of Oak Cliff is something that film goers should never miss  and its  a hell of a lot of fun!
