Katrina Law, who plays Nyssa al Ghul in The CW’s Arrow, has joined the cast of CBS’ upcoming Training Day drama series.

According to Deadline, Law will star as an LAPD officer named Detective Rebecca Lee, who works at the Special Investigation Division. Law joins Bill Paxton’s Frank Rourke, a detective who Lee looks to as a father figure after he rescued her from human traffickers when she was four years old

CBS’ upcoming series will offer a modern-day take on the Antoine Fuqua-directed Training Day film, which released back in 2001. In addition to Law and Paxton, Drew van Acker will play an LAPD officer named Tommy Campbell.

Ethan Hawke, who starred as the rookie cop Jake Hoyt in the original movie, has been approached to join the series. However, whether or not he will indeed be involved is still up in the air.
