Warner Bros. Games has officially introduced PC modding support for the acclaimed open-world RPG, Hogwarts Legacy. As of January 30, 2025, players on Steam and the Epic Games Store can download the latest patch to access available mods directly from the game’s main menu. For those interested in creating their own modifications, the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit is now available for free on the Epic Games Store.
To celebrate this release, developer Avalanche Software hosted a livestream showcasing a variety of available mods. The accompanying trailer highlights unique additions such as the “Chicken Wand” mod, new hairstyle options, and broom mount replacements like a vacuum cleaner and a flying cat. These mods, along with new quests, dungeons, and cosmetics, are currently available, with expectations for more to come as the modding community expands.
CurseForge, one of the world’s largest repositories of mods and addons for video games, is hosting and moderating the Hogwarts Legacy PC mods. The Creator Kit supports the creation of new quests, dungeons, and character enhancements, including cosmetics and skins. Mods can be submitted through the CurseForge platform to be published in the game.
