Move as one in Rogue Point, a 4 player co-op shooter! Join the Playtest on Sept 25 – Sept 29.
Team17 and Crowbar Collective are giving vigilantes a chance to get hands-on with a playtest for the upcoming 4 player, cooperative shooter, Rogue Point. Rogue Point is a four-player FPS in which you undertake missions offering quick and clean FPS experience and cooperation.
How to join the Playtest:
- The playtest will first go live via Twitch drops at 2pm bst, 24th September
- Playtest signups will happen on Steam at 6pm bst, 25th September
- Demo will run until 12pm, 29th September
Playtest features:
- You’ll encounter different enemies, maps, and guns that you can purchase with money earned in prior missions.
- Since the last public demo the team have implemented ADS
- Objectives will include Bomb Diffusal, Merx Hunt, Hostage Rescue, Intel Capture (Laptop Decryption) and Strike Missions
- Raid Mission: The final campaign mission, where players must fend off multiple waves of enemies before extraction.
- 20+ skills to customize your character with.
- Once you get to the end, everything resets but some perks do remain. You unlock cosmetic rewards per playthrough. Perks, Weapons, Armour are on a per campaign basis only. Crowbar Collective want to ensure players feel rewarded for going through the loop.
- Maps are spread across different locations and prior to choosing a map you and your squad will complete a planning phase and once you agree on a teamplay, you can get into the action.
- Rogue Point really emphasizes collaborative teamwork to successfully defeat the corporate stooges set upon using the MERX app.
