Opus Major studio is proud to announce the launch of the first MAJJAM playtest from September 18 to 22, 2025 (registration at majjam.com). To accompany this first playtest, Opus Major is also unveiling the brand-new gameplay trailer for MAJJAM, its cooperative multiplayer game where music is the magic of the world used to fight against darkness.
Several thousand players have already registered on the game’s website to join this first playtest. The opening and closing times for this playtest are listed below:
- Start: Thursday, September 18 at 12 p.m. CEST
- End: Monday, September 22 at 9 a.m. CEST
This first MAJJAM playtest is taking place at a very early stage of development. Although MAJJAM is still far from its final form, Opus Major has decided to launch it in order to gather player feedback as early as possible and incorporate their expectations from the very first stages of the game’s development.
Players can still sign up for the playtest in the coming days, add the game to their Steam wishlist, or join the Discord community.
A world in danger, an unexpected weapon: music
In MAJJAM, an evil force is slowly spreading its deadly and silent grip. To protect their world and save their lands, players must unite and face the dangers threatening the universe. Their only weapon: music.
MAJJAM is not a rhythm game and requires no musical skill. The heroes express their magical powers through melodies and rhythms, harmonized by online technology developed by Opus Major, offering a fluid experience with no apparent latency.
Each time the heroes play music, face the dangers of the world, or explore its secrets, the universe of MAJJAM fills with energy to repel the darkness that threatens it in regular waves.
