Developed by Supernova Games Studios, Assetto Corsa Rally brings the acclaimed realistic driving physics of the Assetto Corsa series to one of the most demanding and spectacular forms of motorsport. The game delivers an authentic and immersive experience that captures the essence of rally racing — where speed, precision, and adaptability merge into one intense challenge.
Thanks to a technical partnership with KUNOS Simulazioni, Supernova had access to the renowned Assetto Corsa physics engine, specifically adapted for rally conditions. KUNOS provided direct supervision and support throughout development, ensuring the same high standards of realism and simulation that define the brand.
Next-Level Realism and Dynamic Environments
Each rally stage takes place in a fully dynamic environment where time of day, weather, and surface conditions directly affect driving behavior. Temperature, humidity, and terrain type influence grip and vehicle response, making every stage unique and unpredictable. The KUNOS physics engine has been enhanced to handle the unique demands of rally racing, including:
- Jumps and rough terrain
- Variable and slippery surfaces
- Realistic vehicle dynamics on every type of ground
Unreal Engine 5, Laser-scanned Tracks, and Authentic Audio
All stages have been created – for the first time in the rally sim genre – using LaserScan technology, allowing ultra-precise reproduction of real-world terrain, surface irregularities, and surrounding environments, setting a new benchmark for realism in rally simulation, deepening the authenticity of the driving experience.
Supernova Games Studios has extensively customized and optimized Unreal Engine 5 to meet the specific performance and visual fidelity needs of racing simulation.
Every vehicle has been recreated using laser scans and official CAD data, ensuring unmatched accuracy in every detail.
An advanced damage system blends visual deformation with physically integrated effects, influencing real-time handling and vehicle performance.
Sound design has been engineered for maximum immersion:
- Authentic recordings of real rally cars — from acceleration and braking to drifting — captured both inside and outside the cockpit.
- Co-driver pace notes recorded with professional co-drivers using their real voices.

The Early Access version of Assetto Corsa Rally includes:
- 33 km of laser-scanned roads
- 4 Special Stages with 18 total variants across Wales (gravel) and Alsace (tarmac)
- 10 iconic rally cars, including Group B, WRC, and Rally2 categories
- 5 gameplay modes, triple-screen support, and more
The full release will expand to include:
- Over 120 km of laser-scanned stages
- 10 Special Stages with more than 35 variants across 5 international rallies
