Belgian indie studio Slappy Inc. is putting everything into place for the upcoming Steam Next Fest participation of Mazey Village. The cozy town-restoring adventure has just published its demo and also has a brand-new trailer to share!
In Mazey Village, a tornado has left homes, pets, and belongings scattered across maze-like lands, and it’s up to players to solve sliding-tile mazes, recover what was lost, and rebuild a thriving, heartwarming community.
The upcoming Steam Next Fest runs from 13 to 20 October, but the demo is already available!
About the Game
In Mazey Village, a tornado left the cozy town in quite a twist! Homes, pets, and precious belongings are scattered across maze-like lands, and it’s up to you to slide tiles, solve puzzles, and piece everything back together.
Along the way, you’ll meet villagers in need, pet cows, befriend penguins, and encounter cute but quirky critters who might just lend a paw. With every maze solved, the village grows warmer, livelier, and closer to feeling like home again.

- Rebuild & customise the village – restore homes and decorate them with furniture, gardens and various charming details. Watch the village flourish!
- Solve sliding-tile puzzles – Search for lost belongings hidden throughout the mazey world. Slide tiles into place to clear the path to lost items or pets that wandered off.
- Daily Quests – Return every day to complete optional challenges and unlock even more content, like costumes and cosmetics for your character.
- Shop ’till you drop – Browse furniture, outfits, and other cute stuff from shops or trade with villagers for items that match their own personality.
- Bring the community together – Befriend the villagers and quirky talking animals. Meet tiny critters who might just lend a helping hand. Everyone works together to restore the village, but they need your help!
