It’s another week for new comics, and there are some interesting releases coming up from DC. Here’s a quick look at what you can find on shelves this week.

Hitting Shelves Today, February 5th:

  • Absolute Superman #4: The “Last Dust of Krypton: The Chasing Storm” storyline continues! Superman is still dealing with the Peacemakers and Lois Lane, and the Omega Men are also involved now. This is part four of the arc.

  • Batgirl #4: The “Mother” storyline continues as Batgirl and her allies, brought together by Lady Shiva, face the Unburied. Things get complicated when a surprise attack leads to a bigger fight, with Cassandra Cain in the middle.

  • Batman #157: The “Dying City” story wraps up! Batman confronts the Court of Owls amidst the chaos in Gotham, trying to save the city and Jim Gordon.

  • Batman: Off-World #6: “The Bat That Flies the Stars” concludes. Batman is getting ready to return to Gotham after his off-world journey, but first, he has one final lesson to learn from the Blakksun Twins.

  • Birds of Prey #18: Oracle expects a ninja clan attack and is preparing a trap with Dinah, Sin, and Megaera. Separately, Constantine needs Oracle’s help with a demon, so she sends Big Barda and Cass Cain. This issue is part of the “Divide & Conquer” story.

  • JSA #4: The “Ragnarok” storyline continues. Beth Chapel is looking into Jakeem Thunder’s coma and her search might take her into Injustice Society territory.

  • Justice League: The Atom Project #2: “The Atom Project: Cold Fusion” continues. Nathaniel Adam is having trouble with his atomic powers, and Captain Atom is changing. Meanwhile, there’s some disagreement within the Atom Project on the Watchtower, and Ryan Choi is leading a mutiny.

  • Little Batman: Month One #4: Little Batman (Damian Wayne) is stuck with his babysitter and has to use his wits to outsmart her, defeat Scarecrow, and rescue his father.

  • Poison Ivy #30: Poison Ivy is in a strange place after an encounter with the Order of the Green Knight. Janet is in Marshview trying to find some answers but gets lost in The Green.

  • Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? #132: Mystery Inc. investigates a haunted courtroom and ends up being prosecuted by a ghost judge.

  • Shazam! #20: A standalone story called “Youth Without Youth!” Jonathan Kent turns into a little kid at the Rock of Eternity, and Billy has to fix it.

  • Two-Face #3: The “Matchmaking in Hell” storyline continues. Scarface has been kidnapped, which is causing problems in Gotham’s underworld. Two-Face needs to figure out if this is a one-off thing or if it’s connected to the Shadow Hand. The culprit? A love-seeking, former actor.
