Allison graduated from Brigham Young University where she studied English and Political Science.  After graduating she taught high school English for several years before starting a family.  She continued to freelance write about everything from extreme sports to fashion before going back for her Masters in Writing and Literature from Union Institute and University, where they indulged her nerdiness and let her write her thesis on “Joseph Campbell’s Heroes journey as portrayed through the X-Men”. She continues to love to write, dance, be a mom, and be addicted to all things super hero and spy related.  She loves feedback on her blog reviews and looks forward to hearing from you!

Ever since she was old enough to become self aware, Chloë has never quite lived in reality.  It wasn’t that the real world had been particularly terrible to her.  Yet, all of the various ways of escaping into her imagination, the real world seemed dull in comparison.  Given her imagination’s unquenchable thirst,  movies, games, books, music, and theatre have always been an integral part of her life.  Chloë took it step further in high school by becoming a full fledged theatre and show choir nerd, eventually leading to a BA in Arts in Performance at UTD.  While her ultimate goal is to create new “worlds” of the imagination to inspire future generations,  Chloë still delights in what inspired her.  Star Wars, The Legend of Zelda, the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, and the films of Walt Disney and Hayao Miyazaki are just a few examples of her favorite distractions.  Currently, she resides in Frisco, Texas with her awesome chinchilla, Mog, as well as

To take the words of Hazel Grace Lancaster: “I am quite un-extraordinary,” but I love books. I was introduced to Harry Potter when I was 9 years old and at the time didn’t realize the impact that it would have on my life. My older sister had read them aloud to me and I immediately fell in love with the books and the movies. After that I continued to read them on my own. Today I have read the first 3 books twelve times and books 4-5 five or six times. I don’t think I even glanced at another book because I didn’t need it, Harry Potter was fulfilling enough. I ended up taking a trip to Universal Orlando to visit Harry Potter World. I am proud to say I have robes, two wands, a quick quotes quill, an Azkaban mug shot, and an assortment of other Harry Potter knickknacks. After that my friends introduced me to Beautiful Creatures by authors Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl and I became obsessed. That led to me reading more and more YA novels and that’s basically how the birth of my inner fangirl came to be. I can’t even remember what other books I started with because it was so many books ago, but I haven’t stopped reading since. I couldn’t stop reading things like: Divergent, If I stay, The Fault in Our Stars, The Gallagher Girl Academy, etc….While I have not been blogging for very long, I’ve met and interviewed countless authors including: Romily Bernard, Jennifer Sadera, Bridget Ladd, Courtney Stevens, Mary Gray, Lauren Oliver, Kevin Emerson, Etc… I enjoy watching movies late at night….but I couldn’t say what type of movies I like best. Because I kind of like everything. Besides all that, I spend my time dancing or stretching, fangirling on the internet, and snuggling with my kitty.

With a background in the beauty and fashion industry Sheila found herself drawn to writing DIYs for cosplayers.  Traveling all over the Southwest not only giving tips and tricks to achieving particular looks but also hosting and judging many “fantasy” competitions.  In her spare time though she has gone to school for Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice at UT Arlington and of course always has time for some gaming.  She has been playing video games since the original Atari was out and the love of the game, fun of multiplayer and of course the competitions kept her coming back for more.  Love of music led her to seeking out soundtracks done for games as well as movies and television shows.  Currently residing in Denton she frequently can be found checking out the new and upcoming bands around Denton or at one of the Music Festivals Denton has to offer.

Sheila also loves to research just about anything, a good debate on multiple topics, trivia, and streaming game plays from PVP, PVE, platform, MMO etc. and hopes to start speed runs on classic games in the not too distant future!

John has been gaming his whole life. Coming from Oak Cliff, TX, his parents recognized gaming could keep him out of trouble and closer to home. When Final Fantasy came out, he was hooked to fantasy stories and parlayed that passion into writing. He spent his 20s traveling the country and has lived in NorCal, SoCal, Denver, and Austin and still managed to finish his Bachelor’s from University of North Texas in Marketing with a minor in Journalism. He speaks German when he can and won multiple state competitions in German academic competitions. His favorite franchises include: Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Elder Scrolls, and Metal Gear.

He couldn’t be more excited to nerd out with his readers and fellow contributors and talk all things nerd. If you’re ever in the Dallas area, he’s always down to Pokemon Go, hop on the sticks, or play some board games! Xbox Live and PSN: Jwin1401, Nintendo Switch and 3Ds: TwoMixers
