Wow. I just have to start with wow. I feel a little like a poser writing about this series as I did not watch the original 24 series, so at first I was a little lost as to the characters and their history, but as a once avid fan of “Alias”, I really wanted a chance to see this new 24 revival and finally find out what all of the hype has been about. For me, the season has not been a disappointment at all. Each episode has been intense and exciting and left me wanting to know more and I love the real time countdown. I am curious to know what long-term 24 fans think of this new revival? Has it been a disappointment? Has it lived up to your expectations? For those of you have not yet gotten into 24, and are like me and have nothing to base it on, I definitely recommend getting caught up quickly with this series and having something to look forward to this summer. I especially like the character of Agent Morgan, and the drama that looks like it is about to unfold about her ex-husband and whether or not he really was a traitor. There is obviously still chemistry between Audrey and Jack, and I have to say that I am not a fan of Audrey’s husband, played by Tate Donovan, and am curious if they will actually remain a couple or if there maybe is redemption and a future for Jack and Audrey after all? What do you hardcore fans think? Would you like to see them together again? Ultimately I think Benjamin Bratt’s character of Navarro will be the traitor who framed Agent Morgan’s husband but that remains to be seen (oh wait, did I just spoil it for you. Glad there is one intense summer series to watch, and look for more updates soon! For all you seasoned fans, I would love to see your comments and thoughts on this season’s current development.
