They’ll join Chris Pine (Wonder Woman, Star Trek) in the cast of the show and Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman) will direct the first two episodes. Sam Sheridan, author of A Fighter’s Heart and The Disaster Diaries, is set to write the series, inspired by the life of Fauna Hodel. Production begins next month in Los Angeles.
One Day She’ll Darken tells the incredible story of Fauna Hodel who was given away at birth. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Hollywood gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel, a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery.
Eisley is known for playing the role of Ashley Juergens in the ABC Family television series The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Eve in the film Underworld: Awakening.
